On this episode, we discuss immunologically mediated adverse reactions that patients can have to foods (food allergies). We provide a brief overview of some background information and pathophysiology. We then review the pharmacological management of an acute allergic reaction and close with some noteworthy information about the drug, Palforzia (peanut allergen extract).
