On this episode, we start by discussing the maintenance medications used to control angina (stable ischemic heart disease). We then review the treatment options available to a patient that has presented to the ED with a STEMI. We cover PCI with stenting, CABG, and the differences between the 3 main oral antiplatelet medications used in dual antiplatelet therapy.
